for what He can give you, or how He can bless you ?

SINNERS NEED FOR CHRIST

It is impossible for us, of ourselves, to escape from the pit of sin in which we are sunken.
"The carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be." Romans 8:7

There must be a power working from within,
a new life from above, 
before men can be changed from sin to holiness.

The Savior said, "Except a man be born from above," unless he receive a new heart, new desires, purposes, and motives leading to a new life, "he can not see the kingdom of God.
John 3:3

"The natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them,
because they are spiritually discerned."
1 Corinthians 2:14

"Marvel not that I said unto thee,
ye must be born again."

NEW CREATURES IN CHRIST

2 Corinthians 5:17
"If any man be in Christ,he is a new creature;
old things are passed away;behold all things are become new."

While the works of the Spirit are silent, its effects are manifest.
"IF" the heart has been renewed by the Spirit of God,
the life will bear witness to the fact.

We must always know that none of these works are of our own effort, but by the work of the Holy Spirit working in us.

Those who become new creatures in Christ Jesus
will bring forth the fruit of the Spirit,
"love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness,
goodness, faith, meekness, temperance."
                       Galatians 5:22-23

Christians will seek not the "outward adorning", but "the hidden man of the heart,
in that which is not corruptible, 
even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit."
                          1 Peter 3:3-4

WORKING FOR GOD

A great number of Christian workers worship their work.

Everything Christians do should be done with 
God in mind and constant thought.

God engineers everything, and wherever He places us, our one supreme goal should be to pour out our lives in wholehearted devotion to Him in that particular work.

Ecclesiastes 9:10
"Whatever your hand finds to do,
do it with all your might ................

Loving Savior

Jesus gave His life for you and me,
simply because He loves you, He wanted to give you a life
and for you to carry on the work that He Himself was doing.

What kind of work is that ??
Preach the Gospel to all nations.
Heal the sick.
Raise the dead.
Laying on of hands.

Everything Jesus did while He was here on this earth we are to continue to do and GREATER WORKS will we be able to do through the indwelling Holy Ghost.

Jesus left everyone of us with a "COMMAND".
 A command is something that each of us must do;
that doesnt mean do it only if you feel like it, or, if you can find the time, or, if its convenient to you, or, if it ivolves something for you.

Mark 16:15
And JESUS said unto them,
"GO" ye into all the world,
and preach the gospel to every creature.

When will you make the commitment to follow Jesus'
COMMAND ???

Will you start Today, to live your life to glorify Jesus Christ
in everything you do, everyday ??

You may be the only Gospel some people ever see or hear.
You may be the only bible some people ever read.
You may be the only reason some people ever get to go to
Heaven for Eternity !!!

Working of The Holy Spirit

In Genesis we are told that we have been created in 
Gods Image,
That means that we have His Nature.

When we were saved, we obtained Gods Nature,
but from that time, day after day, the Holy Spirit has
been working the Nature of God into us so that we may
bear the FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT.

The Fruit of the Spirit is;
Love, Joy, Peace, Longsuffering, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Meekness, and, many others.

The Holy Ghost must continually work in us to cause us to
bear all of these different kinds of fruit.

See the difference here ??
When we were saved, God imparted His life into us,
but the fruit of the Spirit is not something imparted to us by God.
We begin to bear these fruits as the Holy Spirit works within us to a certain extent.

The Cost of Discipleship

In Matthew 28 we find the Great Commission,
This is overall the Command that Jesus gave each and every one of us that call ourselves Born Again Believers.

How serious do you take this Command ?
What have you done lately to show your commitment to this Command ?
We must understand that this Great Commission is also for the 
21st Century church.

What are you willing to sacrifice to follow this Command ?
Are you all in no matter what the cost ?
Or will you make excuses when it gets difficult, it interferes with your lifestyle, job, relationship.........................

Following Jesus as a TRUE DISCIPLE means to be all in no matter the cost.
If you are perhaps a TRUE DISCIPLE it has already cost you something.

What are you willing to give up to follow Jesus ??
