Why do so many church's require high levels of education ?
Its more about the heart level, how much a person cares.
I would rather have a ministry full of leaders that care, that love others,
and want to share.
How about remove the structure thats been outdated and replace it with
love and caring people that truly love Jesus and want to see others
fall in love with Him.

We have church's full of education and no love for Jesus.
We could even bring the Holy Spirit back into the church if
we expect things to change.
We have shut out the Holy Spirit to gratify and glorify man.
We better get ready to be judged by God, what ever happened to
repentance ??

LOVE .  CARE.  SHARE .  HEART.  JESUS .  HOLY SPIRIT .

BE CONFIDENT !!!!!

He calls us not as we are but as who we are to be.
This should give each of us great confidence, and, 
enable us to walk in great boldness. 
The words we use can build others up, or tear them
down.
We must begin to see ourselves and others as God sees 
us, not as our judgemental hearts see.
Be who God created you to be, not who the enemy
wants you to think you are.
Build others up with words of encouragement, build
their confidence so that they will take great steps
of faith.
Allow your faith to lead to big obedience and encouragement.

LIVE BY FAITH, NOT SECURITY

How we live our days is how we live our lives.
We each need to discover for ourselves how to live
this day in faithful surrender to God as we "continue to work
out our salvation with fear and trembling"Phil. 2:12.
Ask yourself, "is this the most loving way to live life ?
I urge you to consider and actually live as though each person that you
come into contact with is Jesus Christ.
Just as there are different utensils in the kitchen that serve
different functions, God has created unique people to accomplish
a variety of different purposes throughout the world.
We must learn to listen and obey God, especially in a society
where its easy and expected to do what is most comfortable.
See, most of our talk doesn't match our lives.
We say things like, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens
me". "Trust in the Lord with all your heart."
Then we live and plan like we don't believe God even exists. 
We try to set our lives up so everything will be fine even if God
doesn't come through.
But true faith means holding nothing back.
It means putting every hope in Gods fidelity to His promises.

NO DIFFERENT THAN YOU

I just was thinking how others look up to me.
They look up to me because of my "title",
my title is Pastor.
Yes its true that I enjoy the respect I receive,
yet I give much respect.
The teenagers that I pastor are just what they are, teenagers.
They come from different backgrounds, they all have their 
own personal problems. 
I am there for each of them in any way that they need me to be,
I try to live my life as an example of Jesus Christ.
These teens need to be loved and cared for, they need to laugh,
they need to cry.
They know that they can count on me for anything.
They call, text, and come over at all hours, there is no limit
to what I will not do for any of these kids and they all know it.
We all love to be respected and admired for what we do.
If we  are not careful we can let it all go to our head.
For me, the greatest part of it all is knowing that,
"I AM NO DIFFERENT" than any of them.
I deal with the same problems and struggles as they do.
The only difference is my relationship with Christ.
He is the one that I call upon for all things.
I love what He has done in my life and want the same for
every one of these kids. Yet at times I can say that I have not
been faithful. I have questioned God in prayer.
These kids all understand who I am and who I live for.
I am on a journey, a journey to the Kingdom. 
The most important thing in my relationship with these kids
is that they know that "I AM NO DIFFERENT' than them.
They must know that I am human and they can watch me
put my trust in Christ. 
What God has done for me He will do for them, "I AM NO DIFFERENT".

HE WAS MURDERED !!!!!!!!!!!!

I cant help but to share His pain. To share in all He took on because of"me". 
Isaiah 53 describes it best. How often we hear of His death, burial, and, resurrection.
Yet, we fail to mention the judgement. Yes Jesus was judged justly, just as you or I.
He was judged for what? He did nothing, He was blameless, found without fault.
It was for our sins that he was judged, and with that judgement He was sent to endure Hell.
3 days latter He rose again, after defeating Satan. Yes we are redeemed !!! 
I just want you to think about not only the Murder, but the Judgement. 
He took on what was meant for all sinners. God couldnt even look at him.
I just cant help but to want to cry because of what I put the only sinnless man through.
I hope that you to will think of His Judgement as well, and not only the Murder that occured.

ARE YOU SAVED ?

I want you to take a good long look at yourself and your salvation.
How do you know that you are truely saved?
Matthew ch.7 says narrow is the gate; but wide and broad is the way that leads to destruction. 
People, Im hear to tell you that, you are NOT saved just because you said some sinners prayer. Difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
We must REPENT and BELIEVE, this means that we must spend the rest of our lives REPENTING, and BELIEVING that he who began a good work in you will finish it.
So many people say the sinners prayer and then spend the rest of there lives serving the world and the comforts therein. 
America is full of Abortion, Drugs, Immortality, Divorce, and yet they believe they are saved.
Before you jump to conclusions about being Carnal Christians which comes from 1 Corinthians ch3,please read the entire chapter. Carnal Christians is not biblical. The bible NEVER teaches that a person can live in continued carnality, sin, and, wickedness all their life. 
A genuine born again child of God walks a narrow path, and when we get off that path God will come to you to straighten your path. The Holy Spirit will convict us of our sin right away, and then we must REPENT and turn away from that sin. 
If any man be of Christ he is a new creature.We are to afraid of offending anyone. yet if we truely love others we will not be afraid of offending.
How do you truely know that you are saved? Because your life is in the process of being changed. You will no longer look or act like the world. 
You will know them by their fruits.

JESUS OF THE BIBLE

If Mark 10 teaches anything, it teaches us that Jesus does sometimes call people to sell everything they have and give to the poor. 
So what about you and me? Are we willing to ask God if he wants us to sell everything we have and give to the poor? 
Are we willing to ask and wait for an answer instead of providing one of our own or justifying our ideas of why he would never tell us to do this?
this may seem a bit radical, but isnt it normal and expected when we follow a master who said, Any of you who does not give up everything he has cannot be my disciple? 
Once again we find ourselves back at what it means to follow the Jesus of the bible, not the Jesus we have created and are comfortable with. 

LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR

Matt. 22:37-40.  Love the lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the FIRST AND GREATEST COMMAND. The second is like it, love your neighbor as yourself.  We see in 1John. 4:20. that loving God and your neighbor is a package deal. How would you like it if someone said to you, I really like you, you are a good guy, but its those creepy kids of yours that i cant stand? i
Im guessing that you'd say whoevér's not ok with my kids is not ok with me, right? Well God feels the same way about us. We need to learn to love eachother as we love ourselves. Afterall God does command that we do. 
This doesnt mean that we have to be best friends with everyone we meet, but it does mean, supporting, strengthening, serving, and, helping others in need. 
Please think about this the next time you run into that annoying person.  

Sowing Seeds

Have you been sowing seeds? When you do sow do you expect a return? We must sow and we must expect a return. We also must be doing the necessary work physically and spiritually. I encourage you to start sowing and start expecting a return once our seed matures. Pray faithfully over our seeds, the word tells us to pray without ceasing. Sometimes it may seem like our seeds are never gonna reach maturity. Thats when our prayer life must be strengthened. God gives to us when we are ready, not when we think we are ready. Look at it this way, the longer it takes to mature, and you are faithfully doing your part, the greater the return when it does come to maturity. Lets start sowing, and, expecting. Give all glory to God.
