ARE YOU SAVED ?
I want you to take a good long look at yourself and your salvation.
How do you know that you are truely saved?
Matthew ch.7 says narrow is the gate; but wide and broad is the way that leads to destruction.
People, Im hear to tell you that, you are NOT saved just because you said some sinners prayer. Difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
We must REPENT and BELIEVE, this means that we must spend the rest of our lives REPENTING, and BELIEVING that he who began a good work in you will finish it.
So many people say the sinners prayer and then spend the rest of there lives serving the world and the comforts therein.
America is full of Abortion, Drugs, Immortality, Divorce, and yet they believe they are saved.
Before you jump to conclusions about being Carnal Christians which comes from 1 Corinthians ch3,please read the entire chapter. Carnal Christians is not biblical. The bible NEVER teaches that a person can live in continued carnality, sin, and, wickedness all their life.
A genuine born again child of God walks a narrow path, and when we get off that path God will come to you to straighten your path. The Holy Spirit will convict us of our sin right away, and then we must REPENT and turn away from that sin.
If any man be of Christ he is a new creature.We are to afraid of offending anyone. yet if we truely love others we will not be afraid of offending.
How do you truely know that you are saved? Because your life is in the process of being changed. You will no longer look or act like the world.
You will know them by their fruits.

JESUS OF THE BIBLE
If Mark 10 teaches anything, it teaches us that Jesus does sometimes call people to sell everything they have and give to the poor.
So what about you and me? Are we willing to ask God if he wants us to sell everything we have and give to the poor?
Are we willing to ask and wait for an answer instead of providing one of our own or justifying our ideas of why he would never tell us to do this?
this may seem a bit radical, but isnt it normal and expected when we follow a master who said, Any of you who does not give up everything he has cannot be my disciple?
Once again we find ourselves back at what it means to follow the Jesus of the bible, not the Jesus we have created and are comfortable with.

LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR
Matt. 22:37-40. Love the lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the FIRST AND GREATEST COMMAND. The second is like it, love your neighbor as yourself. We see in 1John. 4:20. that loving God and your neighbor is a package deal. How would you like it if someone said to you, I really like you, you are a good guy, but its those creepy kids of yours that i cant stand? i
Im guessing that you'd say whoevér's not ok with my kids is not ok with me, right? Well God feels the same way about us. We need to learn to love eachother as we love ourselves. Afterall God does command that we do.
This doesnt mean that we have to be best friends with everyone we meet, but it does mean, supporting, strengthening, serving, and, helping others in need.
Please think about this the next time you run into that annoying person.

Sowing Seeds
Have you been sowing seeds? When you do sow do you expect a return? We must sow and we must expect a return. We also must be doing the necessary work physically and spiritually. I encourage you to start sowing and start expecting a return once our seed matures. Pray faithfully over our seeds, the word tells us to pray without ceasing. Sometimes it may seem like our seeds are never gonna reach maturity. Thats when our prayer life must be strengthened. God gives to us when we are ready, not when we think we are ready. Look at it this way, the longer it takes to mature, and you are faithfully doing your part, the greater the return when it does come to maturity. Lets start sowing, and, expecting. Give all glory to God.

FRUIT OF FAITH
Time and time again throughout the new testament we see that the fruit of faith in Christ involves material concern for the poor. Caring for the poor is one natural overflow and a necessary evidence of the presence of Christ in our hearts. Yet I am left wondering why we have mega churches in every state in America today and homeless on every big city corner. Not to mention the problems of death by starvation in far of countries Tells me that we are building our own comfortable christianity that is taylor made to fit our lifestyle. This is so far from biblical truth. Christians, we need to take a hard look at our lives and our relationship with our living God and i think we will see that what we are doing does not relate to what the bible teaches. This is why I have chosen this ministry to go out into the city and witness to people to try to make desciples and with the power invested in us by the Holy Spirit we can turn these neighborhoods from their wicked ways. id love to hear how you feel aqbout my ministrys mission.

GOD BLESSES
God blesses his people with extravagant grace so they might extend his extravagant glory to all people on earth. This basic, fundamental truth permeates scripture from beginning to end. Yet i wonder if we unknowingly ignore the great why of god.
